The Carriage Leaf name literally translates as “moments on paper,” which is exactly what a photograph means to me. The Carriage Leaf series is the longest running theme in my work and basically began as images of nature, or people in natural settings, that appealed primarily to me. What defined the series over time were the places where people live in harmony with nature, and of course, those human moments that I felt I needed to try to hold onto in some way.
